Baybayin Workshop with Habi Fair

Our Baybayin workshop was held in Glorietta Activity Center at Habi Fair 2019. While our previous workshop with Habi Fair was free, this time, we charged participants with a workshop fee.

The workshop is more intimate as participants joined us on stage with chairs and tables, enabling them to learn how to read and write Baybayin correctly. We delve into our updated history of Baybayin while challenging our participants to read various Baybayin script on screen. To end the workshop, our participants learned how to write their names in the Baybayin script using a calligraphy brush. We also conducted the workshop in conjunction with Stories from the Barrio to promote folklore.
